Mr. Buck Chambers Sr

Funeral services for Mr. Buck Chambers, Sr., 83, of Beckville, Texas will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Gabriel Espinoza will be officiating. A private family burial will follow in the Langley Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at Hawthorns. Mr. Buck Hatton Chambers, Sr. was born January 5, 1940, in LaPorte, Texas. He passed this life July 20, 2023, peacefully at his Beckville, Texas home. Buck was the youngest of three children raised by his mother Alma Agnes Browning Chambers. He was raised and schooled in LaPorte, Texas and served his country through the U.S. Marine Corp. He married Ann Leslie and together they celebrated 52 years of marriage before she preceded him in death in 2018. Mr. Chambers spent his career as a welder and pipeline inspector and owner of Cindero Consulting, Inc. His life was spent with family, horses, cowboying and working cattle. Fishing trips and travel with the family he loved. He spent his life serving Jehovah God and was faithful to the very end. He is also preceded in death by his parents, son, Clete Chambers, brother, James Chambers, and a grandson, Hayden Chambers. Mr. Chambers is survived by his devoted children, Shana Gonzales and husband Bobby of Carthage, Bucky Hatton Chambers, Jr. and wife Mary of Wrightsville, PA, Glenda Grimes and husband Phillip of Gary, Kelly Chambers of LaPorte, and Jill Blehm and husband Jody of Clear Lake; sister, Mary June Powell of LaPorte; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Keeling of College Station; grandchildren, Leslie and Gabriel Espinoza, Garrett and Beth Wallace, Lenae and Justin Harrell, Chase and April Chambers, Cullen and Mika Chambers, Shauna “Sissy” and Austin Carr, Layni and Ronny Espinoza, Cutter Chambers, Talon Chambers, Emma Purvis, Lexie Sherrod, and Logan Sherrod; eight great grandchildren, Zoee, Kealyn, Carter, Nora, Bristol, Karsyn, Emberlynn, and Waylon; special family Scott and Michelle, Raylee and Paige LeNoir, and Nelson Thorpe; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be, Bucky Chambers, Bobby Gonzales, Phillip Grimes, Garrett Wallace, Cutter Chambers, Gabriel Espinoza, Buck Keith Chambers, Gary Chambers and honorary pallbearers, Nelson Thorpe, Bubba Joe Powell, and Tommy Russell.
