Mrs. Christine "Christie" Stryker-Stevens

Funeral services for Mrs. Christie Stryker-Stevens, 51, of Olivehurst, CA will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, October 12, 2024 at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday night at Hawthorns. Mrs. Christine Carol “Christie” Stryker-Stevens was born February 27, 1973 in Hayward, CA. She passed this life October 3, 2024 peacefully in San Augustine, Texas. Christie was born to the marriage of Christine Evah Stafford and Richard Anthony Timothy Stryker. She was raised and schooled in California attending El Dorado High School with the class of 1991. She obtained her beautician’s license through Panola Junior College and her real estate license through the state of California. She owned and operated “Blondies” working as a beautician and she owned and operated Stryker Home Sales, LLC as a licensed real estate agent. Christie was involved in many community activities, which included serving as the PTA president at her daughter’s school. Christie married her loving husband, Raymond Mitchell Stevens, Sr. and they were members of the Metanoia Community Church. She loved the California beaches, horses, wine tastings, and was a noted cook. She is preceded in death by her father; step mother, Patricia Stryker. Mrs. Stryker-Stevens is survived by her loving husband, Raymond Mitchell Stevens, Sr. of Olivehurst, CA; mother, Christine Evah Root and her husband Jay of Fair Oaks, CA; three beautiful daughters, Ashlynd Berns and fiancé Chase Mims of Carthage, Isabella Berns and fiancé Carson Spinks of Sacramento, CA, and Sophia Berns of Lindale; step children, Raymond Mitchell Stevens, Jr. Heather Kay Stevens and Brookie L. Stevens all of Yuba City, CA; brothers, Richard Anthony “Tony” Stryker, Jr. and wife Holly of Sparks, Nevada, David Bruce Stryker and wife Deanna of Junction City, Oregon; sister, Isabella Stryker of Alameda, CA; step sister, Jessica Desrochers and husband Randy of New Port, Vermont; aunt, Carol Walsack and husband Phil of Carthage, Missouri; grandchildren, Emory Jackson, Eli Jackson, Jonah Mims, William Brewer, and Ezra Mason; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
