Mr. Dale Wayne Eldredge

Funeral services for Mr. Dale Eldredge, 77, of Gary, Texas will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Levi Cohorst and the O.E.S. officiating. Burial and Masonic Rites will follow in the Antioch Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1-2:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Mr. Dale Wayne Eldredge was born April 17, 1947 in Borger, Texas. He passed this life April 16, 2025 in Carthage, Texas. Dale was one of four children born to the marriage of Juanita Millsap and Marshall Theodore Eldredge. He was raised and schooled in Spring Creek and graduated Borger High School with the senior class of 1965. Mr. Eldredge served his country through the U. S. Air Force as an airplane mechanic in Turkey. Mr. Eldredge started as a boilermaker for Shell Oil in 1977 and retired in 2010 as a crane operator after 33 years of service. He loved the outdoors, hunting and restoring model “A’s” as a member of the Model A Club of Texas. Dale was an active member of the Masonic Lodge and O.E.S. serving Lodges in Deer Park #1362, Timpson #437, Nacogdoches #2, charter member of the Tranquility Lodge #2000, O.E.S lodges in Timpson #1144 and Nacogdoches # 428, and served as a Shriner. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Evelyn Elaine Moore and a brother, Marshall Glenn Eldredge. Mr. Eldredge is survived by his loving daughter, Dava Glatfelter and husband Bobby of Dayton; Sister, Barbara Dolan of Heber Springs, AR; brother-in-law, Gary Moore and wife Kay of Keizer, Oregon; grandchildren, Brent Cone and fiancé Joyce Muskwinsky, Chad Glatfelter and wife Stormi, Ellie Glatfelter, Laney Glatfelter; great grandchildren, Alivia DiRuzza, Audrey Cone, Gage and Callah Glatfelter; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Moore and fiancé Andrew Brasser, Mark Moore and wife Patricia, Verna Gail Fletcher and husband Rudy, Tracy Dolan and wife Pam, Stacy Dolan, Richard Eldredge and wife Christi, Larry Eldredge and wife Vicki; other relatives and longtime friends, Dondi and Donna Tipton, Gary and Amanda Duckworth. Serving as pallbearers will be, Chad Glatfelter, Larry Eldredge, Rick Eldredge, Stacy Dolan, Tracy Dolan, Dondi Tipton, Mark Moore and Brent Cone.
