Mrs. Joey Alexandria Landers

Funeral services for Mrs. Joey Landers, 46, of Kilgore, Texas will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Edwards and Rev. Carl Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Martin Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday night at Hawthorn Funeral Home. Mrs. Landers died peacefully at her home in Kilgore, Texas, November 29, 2015. Mrs. Joey Alexandria Wyatt Landers was born September 4, 1969 in Longview, Texas to the marriage of Hugh Aubrey “Butch” Wyatt, Jr. and Judy Ann Weaver. She was raised and schooled in Beckville graduating with the class of 1988. She attended college at Stephen F. Austin, Panola College and obtained her Associates of Science Degree to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Kilgore College. Joey was a member of the Union Arbor Free Will Baptist Church and the O.E.S. Beckville chapter #273. Mrs. Landers was a compassionate and caring person in her life and her profession. She cared deeply for others and touched many lives with her thoughtfulness. Joey was an avid shoe shopper and enjoyed scuba diving and hunting, most of all making memories with her family and grandchildren. Joey loved to laugh and had a passion for adventure. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, I.C. and Minnie Bell Weaver, Margie and Hugh Wyatt Sr., aunt, Sandra Gail Hudson, uncle, Carlton Ray “Sonny” Weaver. Mrs. Landers is survived by her devoted husband, Charles Joseph Landers of Kilgore, father, Butch Wyatt and wife Lois of Omaha, mother, Judy Weaver of Beckville, daughter, Halie Alexandria Moore and husband Aaron of Carthage, sons, Corey Landers and wife Tiffany of Longview, Jacob Landers and fiancé Julie Springs of Longview, Collin Landers of Longview, brother, Jeff Wyatt and wife Gayle of DeBerry, grandchildren, Brendon Landers, Azhure Landers, Jerry Wayne Turlington, Victoria Turlington, Lila Landers, Colton Landers, Maverick Huval, Gabriel Moore and Maximus Hudson, numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be, Charles Landers, Jeff Wyatt, Corey Landers, Jacob Landers, Collin Landers, Slade Weaver, and Damon Weaver.
