Linda Wright Hiscutt

Memorial services for Ms. Linda Wright Hiscutt, 55 of Carthage, Texas will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Tilley officiating. Family visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Arrangements are under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home with her body given to medical research through the Southwestern Medical Center Willed Body Program. Ms. Hiscutt passed away from her earthly home to her Heavenly home after a lengthy illness, on May 22, 2013 surrounded by her loving family and Hospice nurses. Ms. Linda Sue Wright Hiscutt was born April 14, 1958 in Little Rock, AR to Robert Lee (Bob) and Barbara Ann Shaw Wright. Linda later moved to Longview, TX where she was raised. She graduated from Longview High School in 1977 and later attended Stephen F. Austin University, graduating in 1995 with a degree in social work. She loved to visit with family and friends, travel, go to movies, read, cook, and watch old westerns with her Daddy. Linda was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carthage and the Naomi Ruth Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde and Connie Shaw, William L. and Ruth Ann Wright, and her aunt Mary Welch. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Jessica L. Hiscutt Caskey and husband Eric of McKinney, parents, Bob and Barbara Wright of Carthage, brother Chuck Wright and wife Kristie of Cedar Park, sister, Letha Grisham and husband, Donnie of Garland, nieces, Laura Grisham Hargrave and husband Trey of Dallas, Ashley Wright of Cedar Park, great niece, Jordynn of Cedar Park, nephews, Anthony Grisham and daughter Ava of Garland, Brent Grisham of Garland, Jeffery Wright of College Station, Stephen, Aaron and Jonathan Wright of Cedar Park, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends from Heartsway Hospice, Melinda, Jana, Crystal, Niki, Tiffani, Jennifer, Bobbie, Carolyn and Gail.
