Mrs. Pam Shivers Robinson

Private graveside funeral services for Mrs. Pamela Nell "Pam" Shivers Robinson, 78, of Henderson, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Restland Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Michael Cary officiating, under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Pam was born on May 12, 1948, in Henderson, Texas, to Edward Cecil Shivers and Gladys Marie Denton Shivers. She passed away on July 10, 2026, in Tyler, Texas. Pam attended Carthage schools until her senior year, when her family moved to Carrizo Springs following her father's job transfer. She graduated from Carrizo Springs High School in 1966 before continuing her education at Stephen F. Austin State University, where she earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees. On May 18, 1972, Pam married the love of her life, Claude Robinson, in Carrizo Springs, Texas. Together they shared 54 wonderful years of marriage, a union richly blessed by God. Pam dedicated 30 years of her life to education, faithfully serving as an elementary school teacher. Throughout her career, she taught in Carrizo Springs ISD, DeSoto Parish Schools, Henderson ISD, and Arp ISD before retiring. She touched the lives of countless students with her kindness, patience, and love of learning. An avid reader, Pam especially enjoyed science fiction novels and had a deep appreciation for history and historical landmarks. She treasured traveling, fulfilling dreams she once never imagined possible by visiting Ireland, England, several countries throughout Europe, and Ukraine during a missionary trip. Each journey became a cherished memory. Pam was a faithful member of Trinity Baptist Church, where she found great joy singing in the church choir. Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now singing in God's heavenly choir. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Cecil and Gladys Marie Shivers; her parents-in-law, Jewel and Mamie Robinson; and many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Claude Robinson of Henderson; daughter, Shannon Crim of Henderson; son, Craig Robinson and wife, Dania, of Arp; grandchildren, Daulton Crim and wife, Lenna, of Texas City and Corbin Robinson of Arp; great-grandchildren, Layken Crim and Evelynn Crim of Texas City; her uncle, Alvin Denton; along with numerous cousins, extended family members, and many dear friends whose lives were enriched by her love and friendship. Pam will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her love for her family, her dedication to her students, her adventurous spirit, and the kindness she shared with everyone she met. Her legacy of faith, service, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
