A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Rafael Ramirez, 27, of Carthage, Texas will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2021 at the St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church in Carthage, Texas with Fr. Steve Paradis officiating. Burial will follow in the Carthage City Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Rafael Ramirez was born April 15, 1993 in Zacatecas, Mexico. He passed this life January 30, 2021 in Panola County, Texas. Rafael was born to Rafael Ramirez and Maria Santos Almanza. He was raised and schooled in Mexico and spent his career in oil field construction. He was a loving son, husband, father and friend. He is survived by his loving wife Alma Espindola; children, Yeni, Vanessa, Christopher, and Rafael Ramirez; sisters, Sylvia Ramirez, Ester Rameriz, and Jessica Ramirez; many other relatives and a host of friends. The family suggests memorials to Hawthorn Funeral Home in his memory for expenses.
