Mrs. Anna Lou Kirkpatrick Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Anna Kirkpatrick, 84, 0f Carthage, Texas will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Dr. Allen Tilley officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Mrs. Anna Lou Reynolds Kirkpatrick was born July 13, 1937, in Jacksonville, Texas. She passed this life peacefully, June 16, 2022, in Carthage, Texas. Anna was the older of two children born to the marriage of James “Jim” and Daisy Jenson Reynolds. She was raised and graduated high school in Jacksonville. Anna married Jackie Joe “Jack” Kirkpatrick December 21, 1954, and they celebrated 58 years together and two sons. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was an active member of the First Baptist Church in the Victory S.S.C., VBS, the AWANA program and taught Sunday school for many years. She served as Past President of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She was blessed with many faithful friends she loved playing cards, dominoes and bridge with. She traveled with friends in the Golden Rollers R.V. Camping Club. She is also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Gene Reynolds; and two children, Randy Joe, and Suzanne Kirkpatrick. Mrs. Kirkpatrick is survived by her loving sons, Mike Kirkpatrick and wife Rebecca of Carthage, Mark Kirkpatrick, and wife Rita of Carthage; very special granddaughter, Jaclyn Kirkpatrick Elliott and husband Ben of Deadwood, and special grandson, Hayden Kirkpatrick of Carthage; great grandchildren, Parker, and Phoebe Elliott both of Deadwood; numerous other relatives and a host of friends she cherished as family.
