    Mrs. Brandy Nicole Hardie

    October 22, 1977 - August 1, 2018

    Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Brandy Nicole Powell Hardie will be 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Panola Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Bequette and Pastor Kyle Mosier officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 6 – 8:00 p.m., at Hawthorn Funeral Home. Brandy Nicole Powell Hardie was born October 22, 1977 in Carthage, Texas and passed away August 1, 2018 in Carthage, Texas. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1996 and furthered her education at Panola Jr. College. Brandy married Josh Abram Hardie on June 25, 1999 and together celebrated 19 years of marriage. She was a loving Christian wife, mother and daughter. She was very talented to sew, crochet and knit, baking and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her precious kiddos, traveling, trying new foods, photography, and a good cup of coffee. She really enjoyed her coffee. Brandy was preceded in death by her beloved “Papaw” Jimmy O. Powell and cherished “Mamaw” Norma Pat Powell. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Josh A. Hardie, devoted son, Cameron Blake Hardie, and precious daughter, Allison Blair Hardie. Also surviving are her daddy, Jeffrey Bryan Powell and momma, Pamula Powell. Sister, Melissa Westbrook, brother, Jason Briery. Grandmother, Elaine Rhodes Fleet, mamma, Sandra Rhodes Seegers, brother, Jeremy Rhodes, sister, Lesley Walker, numerous relatives and friends. Special friends, John and Tiffany DePresca. Honoring Brandy as pallbearers will be Jeff Hardie, Charles Rhodes, Preston Horn, and Levi Tanner. Honorary Pallbearers will be John DePresca, Jr., David Morris, Ricky Bradshaw, Caleb Wells, Greg Almeida and Jon Almeida. The family request that donations be made to Panola Christian Fellowship Church or the Henderson animal shelter, in lieu of flowers
