Mrs. Carol Jean Coleman

Funeral services for Mrs. Carol Coleman, 69 of Beckville, Texas will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Waldrop Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Carol Jean Hutto Coleman was born November 11, 1951 in Carthage, Texas to the marriage of Tommy and Anita Hull Hutto and passed this life December 10, 2020 in Longview, Texas. Carol attended Beckville High School and First Baptist Church Beckville. A homemaker, Carol enjoyed horses, barrel racing and rodeos. She was a member of several Arkla-Tex Rodeo Associations where she competed and won awards. Carol loved cooking and spending time with her family, especially her granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Coleman is survived by her husband of 10 years, Russell Coleman of Beckville; son, Bob Hester and wife Selina of Beckville; granddaughters, Haley and Hannah Hester of Beckville, and many lifelong friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerry Phillips, Thomas Monroe, Aaron Mills, Stan Davis, David Hall, Tim Nutt and Mike Johnson.
