Mrs. Carylon Bardwell

Funeral services for Mrs. Carylon Bardwell, 78 of Carthage, Texas will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James McRight and Bro. Wayne Butler officiating. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Family visitation will be Friday evening from 6–8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Bardwell passed away on June 18, 2014 at her home. Mrs. Carylon Jo Livesay Bardwell was born March 1, 1936 in Harris County, Texas to the marriage of Lester W. and Barbara Phillips Livesay, Jr. Carylon met and later married James Champ Bardwell on May 28, 1954 and together they celebrated 51 years until he preceded her in death on November 30, 2005. Mrs. Bardwell worked with her husband in the grocery business for many years. She loved gardening, flowers, crocheting and especially spending time with her loving family at their family gathering. Waiting on the other side of the gates of pearl to meet Carylon were her parents, Lester and Barbara Livesay; brother, Wayne Livesay; and her sweetheart, Jimmy. Those left on earth looking forward to that family reunion are her sons, L.W. Bardwell and wife Judy of Woods, Carl Bardwell and wife Lori of Carthage; daughters, Sue Golden and husband Carroll of Carthage and Tammie McNair of Carthage; grandchildren, Misty Nail and husband Trey, Chontae Bardwell, Mandy Ozuna and husband Jonathan, Lindsey Jackson and husband Jay, Bonnie Montandon and husband Michael, Blake Bardwell and wife Cara, Ryan McNair, Will Bardwell, Audrey Pool and husband Hunter, Bo Bardwell and wife Kaley, Baylor Bardwell, Colton McNair and Anna Bardwell; great grandchildren, Emily Anderson, Olivia Ozuna, Bella Bardwell, Parker Montandon, Julian Ozuna, Autumn Jackson, Hadley Montandon, Blair Bardwell, Madilyn Nail and Olivia Nail; numerous other relatives and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Will Bardwell, Blake Bardwell, Ryan McNair, Bo Bardwell, Baylor Bardwell and Colton McNair. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Montandon, Jonathan Ozuna, Jay Jackson, Hunter Pool, Trey Nail, Julian Ozuna and Parker Montandon. The family suggests that memorial donations be made in Mrs. Bardwell’s name to the Walton Cemetery Association or to the Carthage Gideon Camp.
