    Mr. Johnny Ray Kelley Jr.

    April 29, 1986 - December 14, 2018

    Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Ray “J.J.” Kelley, Jr., 32, of Shreveport, Louisiana will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 20, 2018 at DeBerry Baptist Church with Bro. Eric Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in the DeBerry Cemetery under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation with the family will be 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Johnny Ray “J.J.” Kelley was born April 29, 1986 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Johnny Ray and Nancy Ditmore Kelley and passed away December 14, 2018 in Shreveport, Louisiana. J.J. graduated with high honors from Moore High School in Moore, OK in 2004 and later served his country through the Louisiana Army National Guard. He went on many mission trips with DeBerry Baptist Church and previously taught Sunday School. J.J. had a love for cycling, online video game streaming, gaming, ultimate frisbee, aerial yoga, cooking and loved being an uncle. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Norma Ditmore; paternal grandparents, William Kelley, Sr. and Myrtle Kelley; niece, Emma Claire Kelley. J.J. is survived by his father, Johnny Kelley, Sr. and his wife Darla of Newman, GA; mother, Nancy Brummett of Watonga, OK; grandfather, Raymond Ditmore of Elysian Fields; brothers, Jordan Kelley of Watonga, OK and his children, Colin, Jordan, Jr. and Theron Kelley; Jansen Kelley of Marshall, Malcom Brummett of Watonga, OK, Ethan Kelley of Beckville, Martin Kelley of Beckville; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and a host of friends; best friend and roommate, Rod Casey. Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan Kelley, Jansen Kelley, Malcom Brummett, Kristi Kelley, Garrett, Kelley, Gage Nichols, Blair Cowart, Rod Casey and Coby Harvey. Honorary pallbearers will be Andy Rodgers and “In Memoriam”, Tyler Cowart. The family suggests donations in J.J.’s name to The ReLife Project or the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. The family would like to extend special thanks to the Mixer.com community and to Adam Spoor for their love and support during this difficult time.
