    Mr. Johnny Ray Lemoine

    November 28, 1956 - February 2, 2022

    Funeral services for Mr. Johnny Lemoine, 65, of Carthage, Texas will be 2:00 p.m. SAturday, February 5, 2022 at the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Jarod Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Hill Cemetery in Vivian, Louisiana. Visitation will be 1-2:00 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Mr. Johnny Ray Lemoine was born November 28, 1956 in Shreveport, Louisiana. He passed this life February 2, 2022 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Johnny was born to the marriage of John Moore and Nellie Jean Hattaway Lemoine. He was raised and schooled in Winnsboro, Louisiana. Mr. Lemoine worked as a truck driver for Penn Transport. He was an outdoorsman, loved fishing, and was a known workhorse. He loved cajun food and time with family and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dana Sue Hill Lemoine; sisters, Caroline Freeman and Evelyn Bauer. Mr. Lemoine is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Lemoine of Carthage, step daughter, Angela Rabon and husband Morgan of Dotson, step son, James Johnson and wife Ashlie of Carthage; special friend, Marsha Harrison; brothers, Maverick Lemoine of Baskin, Louisiana, John Lemoine and wife Penny of Winser, Louisiana; sisters, Christy Aymond of Winser, Louisiana, Judith Ann Nackerud of Winnsboro, Louisiana; grandchildren,Tristan Edgar, Harmoni Hensley, Alina Reed, Alex Reed, Aiden, Owen and Conner Johnson; great grandchildren, Demi and Damon Edgar; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
