    Ms. Sandra Wilber Barnett

    March 18, 1958 - December 30, 2020

Sandra Wilber Barnett was called to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 after passing peacefully in her sleep. She was born on March 18, 1958 in Houston, Texas to William and Marlene Wilber who preceded her in death. She lived many different places, most recently in Montgomery, Texas, but her home was always in East Texas where her three children reside. She inspired many people with her interests including cooking, gardening, kayaking, canoeing, scuba diving, and fishing. Sandi had the purest of hearts, a love for people and animals, and a giving spirit that will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children, James P. Barnett and wife Cayenne of Gladewater, Texas, Robert N. Barnett and wife Jennifer of White Oak, TX, and Michelle D. Barnett of Lufkin, Texas; grandchildren, Amerey, Madeline, Makenna, and Fynnlee Barnett; boyfriend, Terry Bjorck; siblings, Ron Wilber and wife Barbara of San Antonio, Texas, Debra Rabon and husband Morgan of Dotson, Texas, Wayne Wilber of Piketon, Ohio, Linda Lewis and husband Leroy of Nacogdoches, Texas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends. A private memorial service will be held for family at 2:00PM Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please consider a random act of kindness in her name to honor her giving spirit. An online guestbook may be signed at www.hawthornfuneralhome.com
