    Mr. Timothy Lynn Humber

    April 27, 1962 - January 24, 2020

    Graveside funeral services for Mr. Timothy Lynn Humber, 57, of Gary, Texas will be 3:00 p.m. Monday January 27, 2020 at the Mt. Bethel Cemetery with Rev. Leon Veazey officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home Monday prior to the graveside service. Mr. Timothy Lynn Humber was born April 27, 1962 in Clovis, New Mexico. He passed this life January 24, 2020 in Carthage, Texas. He was the fourth of five children born to the marriage of Louie Wytman and Lita Faye May Humber. Tim was raised and schooled in Gary, Texas graduating with the Gary class of 1980. He was a member of the Enterprise Baptist Church, Gary I.S.D. school board where he served as past president and a great Bobcat athletics supporter. Mr. Humber owned and operated the Panola Ice Company, Davis Grocery Store and worked many years for TUMCO. He loved fishing, time with family, friends, grandkids, and the Texas Rangers. He is preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Humber is survived by his loving children, son, Jason Humber and wife Kearsten of Gary; daughter, Lindsey Stephenson and husband Grant of Lake Murvaul; brothers, Reynold Humber and wife Sheila of Henderson, Greg Humber and wife Janet of Carthage, David Humber and wife Anita of Abilene; sister, Debbie Heflin and husband Robert of Marshall; grandchildren, Jaycee Nicole Humber, Joshua Taylor Stephenson, Jake Fisher Stephenson, Jadyn Taylor Stephenson, Jolie Michelle Stephenson; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be, Blake Humber, Philip Humber, Brian Heflin, Jonathan Heflin, Joel Heflin, Scott Davis, Mark Johnson, Mid Johnson, Josh Pipak, Dennis Humber, and Ethan Humber.
