    Mrs. Tiny Lou Echols

    July 15, 1963 - July 26, 2021

    A celebration of life will be held for Mrs. Tiny L. Echols, 58, of Carthage, Texas, 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 31, 2021 at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hawthorn Funeral Home. A viewing will be held 6-8:00 p.m. Friday night at Hawthorn Funeral Home. Her ashes will be interred in Clyde, Texas at a later date. Mrs. Tiny Lou “Mama T” Echols was born July 15, 1963 in Cisco, Texas. She passed July 26, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. She was born to the marriage of Henry Bryan Hash and Bobbie Lou Potts Hash. She was raised and schooled in Breckenridge, Texas. She married Jimmy Dwayne Echols February 12, 1981 and they celebrated 40 years of marriage. Tiny worked for the Burger House and High Chaparral Restaurants owned by her family in Clyde, Texas as well as the Pizza House, Munden and IGA Grocery stores. Mama T was the most caring person, helping anyone in need, putting others before herself. Her joy was found in, cooking for her husband, her grandchildren, and the soccer field watching her grand boys play. She is preceded in death by her parents; and twin sister, Tina Sue Hash. Mrs. Echols is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy J.D. Echols of Carthage; children, Mathew Echols and fiancé Daisy Lopez of Abilene, and Kaci Echols of Carthage; brothers, Jamey Kyle Hash and wife Sandy of Clyde, and Jimmy Bryan Hash and life partner Julie Fairbanks of Carthage; sisters, Virginia “Ginny” Green and husband Gary of Costa Mesa, CA, and Jessica Fimea and husband Jon of Nampa, Idaho; grandchildren, Hunter Stevenson and wife Kimberlyn, Shooter Stevenson, Gunner Echols, Ethan Echols, Trystian Echols, Jenavieve Lopez, and great grand puppy, Aries; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family requests memorials in her memory to Hawthorn Funeral Home for expenses. An online guestbook may be signed at www.hawthornfuneralhome.com
