    Mr. William Clint Moore

    July 28, 1937 - December 23, 2021

    Funeral services for Mr. William Clinton “Clint” Moore, 84, of Carthage, Texas will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2021 at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bob Scott officiating. Burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery in Percilla, Texas. Mr. William Clinton Moore was born July 28, 1937 in Houston, Texas. He passed this life December 23, 2021 in Shreveport, Louisiana. William was the older of two children born to the marriage of Herman B. and Annie Sadler Moore. He was raised and schooled in Houston, Texas graduating from Austin High School with the class of 1955. He obtained his Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin. Mr. Moore married Patricia Dare Satterwhite in 1965, together they raised seven children in a loving home before she preceded him in death in 2019. Clint spent his career in Mechanical Engineering working for Drew Woods, Inc., and other companies and private contractors before his retirement. Mr. Moore started Rocky Mountain Candle Company after his retirement and loved spending time hunting, fishing, riding, and tending to his horses including his favorite horse Scooter. He was a skilled woodworker and carpenter building he and Pat's home in Montana where they lived over 40 years. In those forty years he was a constant loving husband and care giver to Pat, reading the bible, devotionals and reading the bible to her when she was no longer able. They shared their lives and love for more than 50 years. Clint is also preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Cynthia Lee Vaness. Mr. Moore is survived by his loving children, Linda Carol Anderson and husband J.T. of Conroe, Pam Spradley and husband John Timmy of Carthage, Tricia Hall and husband Rocky of Henderson, Mike Moore and wife Angela of Carthage, Susan Pruett and husband Marlon of Porter, Debbie Scott and husband Shaun of Townsend, Montana; sister, Gwen Langenberg of Friendswood; 18 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers are Clayton Moore, Aaron Franks, Joshua Anderson, Jeremy Anderson Carson Wilson and Mason Scott.
