Mr. Clint Cameron Wilson

Clint Cameron Wilson was born March 6, 1986, in Houston, Texas to Alvis and Gayla Hudson Wilson of Gary, Texas. He passed this life August 22, 2026 in Waskom, Texas. Clint attended Gary Independent School District and graduated with the Class of 2004. Clint was a devoted father whose greatest pride and joy were his two sons, Matthew Wilson and Derek Wilson, born from his marriage to Kayla Griffith Williams. His boys held a very special place in his heart, and he cherished every moment he shared with them. Clint was a truck driver by trade and spent many years as a long-haul driver, traveling throughout much of the United States. He was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and was known for his kind, loving, and giving heart. Clint had a deep love for animals of all kinds and never hesitated to show compassion to those around him. A true sports fan, Clint especially enjoyed Ranger baseball, but he loved following all sports. He found joy in the simple things and will be remembered for his generous spirit, his love for his family and friends, and the many lives he touched along the way. Clint was preceded in death by his father, Alvis Wilson, and his best friend, Nelson Granados. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons, Matthew Wilson and Derek Wilson; his loving mother, Gayla Wilson; his brothers, Adam Wilson and wife Zina, Eric Wilson, and Lane Wilson. He is also survived by his birth mother, Frances Wells; brother, Nick; sisters, Nicole and Gabby; two special nieces, Caitlyn Ayers and Aleah McFarland; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Though Clint's time with us was far too short, the love he gave, the memories he created, and the lives he touched will remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, 2026 at Still Waters Cowboy Church with Rev. Saul Petty and Mr. Adam Wilson officiating. A reception will follow the memorial service. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage, Texas. His ashes will be laid to rest in Gary Cemetery. The family request memorial donations in his honor to Hawthorn Funeral Home for funeral expenses.
