A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Leopoldo Roman, 62, of Carthage, Texas will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church in Carthage, Texas with Fr. Steve Paradis officiating. Burial will follow at a later in the Tlalcosahua City Cemetery in Tlalcosahua. Jalisco, Mexico. Visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2021 from 6 – 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Hawthorn Funeral Chapel. Mr. Leopoldo Roman was born November 15, 1958 in Tlalscoahua, Jalisco, Mexico. He passed this life May 5, 2021 in Tyler, Texas. Leopoldo was born to Isidro Roman and Concepcion Guerrero Roman. He was raised and schooled in Mexico and spent his career in construction. He was a loving son, husband, father, and friend. He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife Martha Roman; son, Jesus Roman; brothers, Jose Roman, Jaime Roman, Hector Roman, Luis Roman, and Mario Roman; sisters, Maria Roman, Lupe Roman, and Tere Roman; many other relatives and a host of friends. The family suggests memorials to Hawthorn Funeral Home in his memory for expenses.
