Mr. Travis Wayne Phillips

Well guys, Travis Phillips here, and this sucks! Anyways, I can’t see anything from this little box, but y’all better not be crying. If you snuck a beer in, hell yeah. If not, find one! For those of you that knew me well, you’ll get a kick out of this, because as you know, every moment with me was anything but ordinary. For those who did not, you’ll just have to ask, because I don’t have time for all that. I was born on December 31, 1997, in Tyler, Texas. My parents Misty McClendon and Tommy Phillips knew how to party obviously because they timed that shit just right. Sadly, I had to leave the party early on October 28, 2023. I had a job roofing and spent the rest of my time helping my parents with their business, and spending time with my friends. We spent most of our time on the Dirty Sanches River wakeboarding and hanging out doing a lot of things that should not be spoken of. I liked to ride my mini bike, it was called “the HOG”. I also showed pigs and won a bunch of stuff in FFA. I was him. I finished high school at Carthage in 2016. I leave behind the rest of the fam, my mom (listed up there) and her husband, Roy Evans, my dad (listed up there too) and his wife, Michelle. They live in Canton, Tx. As far as siblings go, you got my sister Payton Evans and my lil bro Caleb Phillips. Caleb also has a HOG. My grandparents are Hilda McClendon, Barbra Cranford, Rickey Evans, Beverly and Lynn Tucker, Jimmie and Jolene Morgan, and Danny and Gail Fears. I gotta lotta Nannies and Pappies as you can see. There’s also a shit ton of aunts, uncles, my new special brother Ethan Flores and last but not least, all of my dear friends. Oh yeah, and my two main bitches, Lily and Lela (my dogs). I have some family that left this world before me. My grandfathers, Harold Wayne McClendon and Tom Charles Phillips, great grandparents, Harold Oliver and Helen McClendon, along with some aunts, Anola and Ada Brooks. Pallbearers y’all my boys. Clark Neuman, Micah Johnson, Jake Marion, Jatavion Spillman, Justin Hockman, Rylee Hogg, Matt Marion, Coleman Dobbins, and Caleb Phillips. The box is small, but y’all best not drop me! A time of visitation will be held on Thursday evening, November 2, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 pm at Hawthorn Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 3, 2023, at 10:00 am, at the Hawthorn Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Hawthorn Funeral Home.
